    ive finaly found a forum

Hi every one its nice to finaly meet and join a forum with some decent people,
I own a bandit 650s with a few mods and I am very pleased at the bike's performance and agree with bob its allwase good sense to start low and give the bike and your self time to get use to the power and performance and as a bike technition here in england Im very lucky to ride all sorts of bikes brands, and engine sizes. What I can say is if you take care of the machine and it usually takes care of you and its good advice to allwase look out for cars on the road because for those of you who drive cars its often you dont see a biker and by that time its to late. Out of all the bike's I ride on a day to day basis the bandit 650 s or 650 f is the most erganomical and power is great not like the buser where you basicaly point and hold on for deer life lol. the 650 has plenty of talk at middrange revs and carry through to the rev limiter or red line ive fitted a full race stainless steel and scorpion endcan and exhaust and it sounds like thunder it will wake your sreet up but then I had all the cams pistons ports ported and race tuned parts put in and its a beutafull sounding machine but it has to be serviced more regularly and special oils have to be used because its been remapped and it goes beond the red line and its certinaly not for the moddest biker 0 to 60 mph well its keeping the front whell down but it was timed 2.9 and 3.2 secs but the wheel keeps leveing the road lol but please,
have fun be aware of cars and keep safe.

Welcome! I'm not sure where you got the impression there are any decent people here, though. It's just us.

Just bought a 2009 1250 S. Haven't been in this forum for a while, back when I had an M50. Then went to HD FLHTCI, then to Yamaha RSTD, now to the BANDIT.

OK, so it's been July of last year since the last post, but I'll see if anyone's home... Newb from the Mississippi Gulf Coast here, just getting back into cycling after 20 years away. My last two bikes were both '78 GS750E's, and the closest thing I could find when I went shopping was a '11 GSX1250FA, which got its first 12 miles on its odometer yesterday (yeeha!) and will be picked up in two weeks! Really love the bike and am looking forward to some great rides on it. "The wife" and I are planning a Spring trip through the Ozark Mountains to inaugurate the new family member. Anyhow's, just sayin' howdy and I look forward to hearing from any otro Banditos (I don't care what Suzuki NA sez, this is still a Bandit!). Take care.
