    Wheels!! S83 (VS1400)

OK, I compromised when I bought my S83 as I can't stand "spoker" wheels. Where can I find affordable wheels for my S83? Thanks in advance.

Affordable wheels for the Intruder 1400/ S83? No such thing!

RC components has some real nice custom wheels for the Intruder 1400/ S83, but they are certainly not cheap. Been a while since I looked into them, but as I recall the low end was about $600 bucks per wheel.

Thunderbike has them also, but their CHEAPEST rear wheel for your bike is about $1400, with another $1200 for the matching front, plus a couple hundred for shipping from Germany. So you might want to stick with RC Components.

There was a company in Norway that made a bolt-on disk to make your rear spoke wheel LOOK like an expensive solid rear wheel, but I don;t know if they still make it. If you want to go wth a solid rear wheel or a fake sold rear wheel cover, you could do just about anything you wanted for a front wheel. With a set of custom bearings from a machine shot you could put on just about any 19, 20, or 21-inch front wheel made for a Harley, as they are cheeper than wheels for metric cruisers. There is no way to make a harley wheel fit your shaft drive though, so you are pretty much going to pay through the nose for a custom rear wheel.

$600.00 per wheel I could handle. I've been on RC Components website but didn't see any prices. Thanks for the reply!! Will check into RC Components further.
