    Okay, applied mink oil to my saddle bags and after leaving a little while, thought i wiped it down pretty well. I now have white specks in the stitching. Any good/safe ways to get it out, or should I apply blk shoe polish?

    Maybe soak it down with heat from a hair drier and see if those specks don't soak in.
