Well, you never know until you ask, just trying to help. Be looking forward to some cool photos. How close are you allowed to get to St. Helens off road? Sounds like off road is a great way to beat the winter boredom of not being able to 'highway' ride.
Weather folks say we have 4 days of sunshine and 60 - 70 degree temps. coming. Time for a family 'get together', what a cool way to end the year.
Keep on grinnin'![]()
Well with a full on dirt-bike not very close but if you have a dualsport or street legal enduo bike you can get up close and personal.
You have to ride a street legal bike on National Forest roads these days, back in the day it was no problem but as with so many things a few idiots ruined it for the rest of us by tearing up pristine alpine meadows and chasing the wildlife around.
There are lots of ORV trails in the PAC NW though, just not in the wilderness of Mt.St.Helens.
Dirt bikes are great and don't require much attention because they are meant to get dirty! Have fun!
I second y2ks post. If you are going near any of the mountains in Washington, a dual sport is your best bet to keep the rangers off your back....
