Those are awesome. I love the ties lol. They must've whipped up into the face a lot. Kinda funny how they wore their "biker" clothes. Styles have changed but the attitude hasn't lol...

 | Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step over the ocean and crush us at a blow? NEVER! All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest, with Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, WE MUST LIVE THROUGH ALL TIME, OR DIE BY SUICIDE. -Abraham Lincoln |

Cool pics. I'd love to get my hands on that 41 Knucklehead.

They make a cute couple!
I've heard some of the old AMA clubs would actually fine members for showing up to an event with out wearing a tie. It's a little before Hollister, but that's one of the ways the mainstream motorcycle organizations of the time tried to separate themselves from the 'riff-raff' clubs like the old Boozefighters who kinda pioneered the whole outlaw thing.

Those are some great pics. Thanks.
As much as I've tried to get lost, everywhere I went, there I was.

That is very cool! I love the belts too. My grandfather said they wore those because the bikes had no rear suspension and the belts helped from keeping the back from hurting so bad.

Great pics
those hats amaze me. How did they keep them on?
