I hear that sportsters vibrate over 65mph. Is that still true with the rubbermount engines?
About what HP/Torque do stock 1200s get?
This is a discussion on sportster vibration within the Harley Davidson forums, part of the American Bikes category; I hear that sportsters vibrate over 65mph. Is that still true with the rubbermount engines? About what HP/Torque do stock 1200s get?...

After '04 vibration is not an issue to be concerned with.
Hp and torque? You're kinda on your own there. Harley doesn't release HP numbers. That said, I've heard tell that the HP is roughly around 70-72. Torque..not far behind.
The numbers I found are 68 HP, and 71 Torque.
It may not seem like much more than the 50 Hp/Tq that your setting on now, but trust me when I say you will definitely feel the difference when your riding one, they actually feel like they have more than that.
Go ride one, most Harley dealers give test rides, or you could rent one and try it for a whole day.
