The Fats are four inches wide than the Slim. How much difference does this make, either way?

If you head to a supplier of the Memphis Shade windshield, they should have a chart that can they put up to your bike and you can see the shape of all of the different sizes of their windshields (fats and slims) and you can make sure you're getting the one you want. I did this and determined the right height and size, it was very helpful.
I got the slim and wish I got the fat, If I were you I'd get the biggest one they have..it does make a difference..if it's wind your wanting to get away from.
I took my windshield off and I love the wind!!!

I've never tried the slim but the fat windshield blocks almost all wind, except cross winds cause buffeting for some reason. It also knocked 5mpg off of my highway gas mileage and slows the bike down quite a bit. For the record I ride a suzuki m50.
