wont start....... battery dead, charging now.... stay tuned....
Well that sux,get out the polish and wax and get some Kroil if you need to loosen any stuck nuts and bolts.
Might be good to hit 'em with some anyway before you try lest not to break any.
This is the best stuff bar none,it's what the pros use...... Google Deal

Thanks Y2K... not having any trouble with the nuts and bolts.... but I will darned if I can get it started.
Called the former owner and he talked me thru it and it still wont start.
Tried a roll start down our hill...and got a couple of chugs for my trouble.
Pulled a plug and definitely have a decent spark when you kick it.... even with starter fluid it will NOT start.
Carb definitely injects gas.. can see that...
Help !?
Gonna have to take it to our mechanic friend... he doesnt work on Harleys but he said he would help us if we needed it 'cause we are special..

yeah...checked....they look practically new and seem to be opening and closing properly. previous owner said gap was .028 and that is exactly what the gap is...
I am thinking maybe timing is off now..?...but I dont have timing lite or know how to do it on this old thing.... just delivered it to a good friend tech who runs a great service company where we get our metric bike work done. He promises it will be purring like a kitten before he is done. Really good guy.
I will let you know what the main issue turns out to be....
