It's NOT Harley's fault......it is YOURS.
If you had resisted the temptation to screw with it, you would have left the VLX in the dust.
Not that the VLX is a dog either; I've got one and I love it.
I think you got pretty much what you deserve.
P.S. Something is amiss with your post too.
Stage 1 kit indicates carbs.
Remapped indicates fuel injection.
You can't have both.
I think you need to put it back stock and then if it isn't running right, get it fixed......unless you have already voided your warranty.

The dealer canned maps are crap, you need an SE race tuner or Power Commander and some quality time with a good tuner.
Find out from someone in the know who is good in your area and get it done right.
Also keep in mind that the RG is a veay heavy bike so it takes some real power to make it nove out smartly.
Another thing is that it's not broken in yet,it takes some miles on these bikes before they will make full power,at least 5000 miles to loosen it up a bit.
The stock cams really don't get it if you want it hotted up,cams make a huge difference on a Harley.
That said a good tuner can do wonders on a stock motor but add cams and port the heads etc and they can make a lot of power.
My 2000 with a 95" kit cams and head work makes a reliable 105hp/110 tq.
Well, so what is YOUR opinion ??
I've seen stock bikes like that which run REALLY good........and I've seen some that have been messed with that run like crap.
What other conclusion do you think I should draw from your story.
And what do you expect to gain by telling it here ???
I don't understand what the point IS.
Whoever made the changes should make it right.
If that is YOU, I repeat my original statement that you should not have messed with it.
Good luck getting it right.
EZ, the point is that he is a troll and was hoping to stir up some sheet on this board. From his writing style, typos, and factual errors I'd say he is a teenager. The Street Glide lists for $19,300, not $30k, it beats the VLX600 in the quarter mile by about 20 bike lengths, and Harley encourages test rides so the bike's performance would not be any surprise to anyone who actually bought one. Got the specs on the Stratoliner wrong too, and note the post count. And note that in his profile it says his bike is a "Valcun Vaquero" and not the Harley or Yamaha models he claimed to own. Either he meant "Vulcan Vaquero" or he really, REALLY missed on the spelling for "Road Glide."
His first post claimed to have bought a new Vaquero, his second a Road Glide. I'm guessing he lives with his mom and rides a Huffy.
isnt vulcan vaquero spanish for road glide.....
