    Question 84 Magna VF700C Questions

is there anywhere to buy aftermarket parts for this bike... i have a 1984 Honda Magna VF700C bike.

and what i was looking for, for starters was a backrest/luggage rack. or just plain backrest.

possibly an aftermarket handle bar with a wider width.

    a Front brake light switch

engine dress up chrome or polished aluminum kit.

    forward control set up

differant style exhaust pipe. while keeping the same (header pipes)
i bought the bike without the mufflers. and dont really care for the (megaphone) style look.. would much rather have something with a more stylish look to them

there are a lot of things i would like to get for my bike.
and wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to find some of these things?

also... anyone know what kind of job it is to put new front fork seals in this bike?

thanks for looking and for any input u may have to my post

if anyone has parts even if i havent listed them as something i am looking for.. please PM me or email me at tony_cedarfalls@yahoo.com with anything u may be willing to part with..

    thanks

    I have similar Questions.

Own a 1986 Honda Magna VF700c V42. and I'd like to accessorize this bike.
In the past I have had larger dressed bikes, and this one doesn't have a windshield.
I have looked at some of the windshields offered, and I see that there is a universal Batwing fairing, but was there ever a fuller fairing offered for these?
    maybe Windjamers or ?.....

I'd just feel more comfortable with a larger fairing if it is available.
If you have one on yours, type, manufacturer, and even a photo of your set-up would be most appreciated.
    Many Thanks in advance,

it is awesome. nice quiet calm when riding. no buffeting. can ride in much colder environments. easy on/off. as far as comfortable riding you cant beat this. 3 yrs later, still cristal clear

Well I checked into Vetter IV's and V's but the Radiator on our magnas is so wide it hinders any good way to attach the ferring brackets to the frame.
luckly while on my search I came across a gent willing to sell his Vetter Ghost windshield. I'll post pics next chance I get. Its a bit tall, but the price was very right, and it does the job for now.
