I would have followed them for 2 minutes.
Then I would have made a u turn, followed 20 minutes later by another u turn.

funny how that happens.
It's like you need the ability to nap on demand.
I sat on this thing over the weekend. Very comfortable. Nice in-person. I will actually consider it now.

but the tank is too small; and from what I saw firsthand at the bike show (when it came around) the tank could easily be 1 gallon larger and just barely take away from the looks.
but then again, I have always kind of looked longingly at the st/1100/1300 motorcycle.
6 gallon tank, get on the freeway and turn off the freeway "when you feel like it" vs
get on the road, get into the groove of driving on the freeway and then.......
oh snap, outta gas, almost.
The Fury looks awesome in pics but when you sit on it you realize just how "cheap" it appears to the eye. The gauges and controls have a crude look to them, which doesn't seem intentional by any means (i.e. a misguided attempt at making it appear hand-built); it just looks like a heap of cost-cutting measures. Same does for the new chopper-inspired VTX1300 line; I REALLY liked the Saber but when I went and saw it person, I was disappointed at the visual appeal and workmanship.

I agree with you ManiZ, I too thought these would be cool bikes when I saw the first pictures. I was disapointed when I saw them in person, especially the VTX1300 line. Very cheap looking with lots of plastic. I know my M50 has lots of plastic but it is also a much cheaper bike. I would have expected more from a bike this size and price range.
Cobra Small Sissybar, Memphis Shades Pop Top windshield w/ quick remove mounts, 200mm Metzeler, Debaffled, John's Kits Forward Controls, Kuryakyn Dually Iso Pegs
The M50 may have a lot of plastic, but every gauge, control and component has a nice, solid, defined look to it. The Saber I sat on had an emergency fuel cut-off switch that looked like it had been hand-formed; lines were crooked and inner edges were soft and round on one side, and sharp and straight on the other. It reeked of hasty design and QC. The Fury parked next to it had the exact same switch in the exact same condition. Disappointing.

I did a custom seat on a fury, added gel in the foam for comfort. Customer was very happy with the job, When I opened up the seat, I was shocked to see the density they used on the seat was about 15-20 lbs density. Really no support for the rider. That means the stock seat is a bar hopper in my opinion. The customer called me last week to give me an update on the seat. He was still happy with it. His longest ride was 400 miles with no tail bone burning or butt going to sleep. Hope this info help ya!!!
I sat on a fury this weekend, (I hope my M forgives me!). Nice eye candy, but I really couldn't see riding one in the NW rainy slick streets.
liked the styling, but the tank doesn't even hold 3 gallons, if I recall.
