new battery needed, honda rebel 250
Hey all, new to the forum.
So I just bought a 2005 honda rebel 250 with 1700 miles on it. Nearly mint condition (one rock ding on the tank)... and it needs a new battery. Well the person didn't have the manual (and you can pop start it by walking it and releasing the clutch)... I just ordered the official honda service manual off amazon, but it won't arrive until estimated delivery date of 9-9. I took the battery out and it looks like someone peeled all the stickers off it... (keep in mind I didn't do that and have no idea why someone would) but can anyone help me out with what the battery specs are so I can go grab one at walmart on the way home from work? Otherwise ill need to wait til I get home to do a search for it.. (most websites are blocked @ work... I'm typing this from my phone). Thanks if you can help!

Assuming that the Rebel is also known as a CB250.........
BATTERY (YTX7L-BS)
31500-KW3-676AH (replaces 31500-KW3-676)
You could have measured the old one and noted the post configuration and that would have worked too.

Most Wal-Marts have a chart that would show you the correct battery. Take your old battery in, you can be sure the size is correct and the posts are in the correct location, plus, most locations charge a disposal fee if you don't trade in an old battery.
I heard most accidents happen close to home, so I moved!
