my problem is my wifes bike doesn't want to run smooth when running at a constant speed say like 30 mph it'll be alittle eratic. plus when stating it up it'll idle but when you give it gas it bogs down and die. 2 questions 1) what's the best way i can take care of problem 2) can i use sea foam straight to the carb's? and how much?

they also have a product called "carb cleaner" that comes in a spray can, and only spray enough to get the job done.

It sounds like a possible carb rebuild may be in your future.

Do not use spray carb cleaner on Magna carbs. It will destroy the throttle slide diaphragms. They are expensive. Seafoam is ok, but I would remove and clean the carbs. Do not mix the parts between the carbs, they are not the same. Keep all parts with the carbs that they came from.

Go to this message board dedicated to all v4 hondas Honda Sabre, Magna, Interceptor BBS - Index Look up Billy C He rebuilds Magna carbs. He dose awesome work. You will need to remove the carbs and send them to him. I do not know of anyone who knows more about v4 carbs. I believe Billy also sells kits with instructions if you want to try to do your own carbs. You can also contact him by email billycarrjr@earthlink.net

I use STP Fuel Injector Cleaner in the gas and that keeps things running smooth as silk even though it has Carbs.

I have tried Gum Out in the past, the STP works better.
