1983 v45 Magna Carb Throttle problem
Just got done replacing the plastic fuel tubes in my magna and put it all back together, when i checked the throttle it would not return like it should it would go back to idle easily but wouldnt spring back like it should. Any help would be appreciated,

It sounds like your cable is binding somewhere. I would check it's routing and make sure the tank or something else isn't pinching it.

i tried the cable out but that wasnt the issue. i took the card back out and the throttle will stick when i move it by hand. Im now sure why it would just start doing this

My 83 V65 also seems like it won't 'snap' back to closed, though it'll move easily enough.
You say it happened all of a sudden, telling me maybe one of more of the cables needs
some lube shot in it, or it was collapsed somehow. Taken your throttle apart, to see if the
lube/handlebar contact has a fresh layer of lube?
