Our local store has told me that the 90 or something in that catagory is coming back. Still we wait. Now they're telling me I need a 109 but that's because it's the only choice left. 800-1800 is a big empty gap. You can't get a 90 in Canada in my opinion is because Suzuki doesn't want us in the states coming to get them. You can get them in other parts of the British empire.

I've read in other forums that the M90 is dead. That 2012 is it's last year anywhere. I don't know that that's been confirmed by anyone to be anything more then the current rumor. But you do have to scratch your head at any line of bikes that makes that big a jump between classes.
and in the spirit of this thread, orderd my GMan Bully and intake just waiting on customs to clear it. Fingers crossed they don't toss some insane duty fees on them. They shouldn't since you can't buy them in Canada. But that wouldn't track with my luck with anything shipped using usps. So I've got $100.00 set aside just in case.

Didn't even know they did an M90...
When God rides, he rides in Scotland. I know this for a fact, because people often confuse him with me..!!

It looks just like the M109 and then they made the M50 look the same. Here in the states we didn't get the new look M50 which came out in 2010, in fact they didn't send us any 2010 models. This is just a hunch by me but I'm guessing since all the 50 models have been reduced to the C50T and the 90's stopped shipping in the states and on a limited availability worldwide, they're in for model changes including engine size upgrade. The progression of engine size changes tells me that maybe the 800's are going to 900's and I have no guess on the 90's since they already had 95's years ago. This is just me guessing though as I can't seem to get any answers from dealers or Suzuki.

Here's a shot of the trunk I bought. It's not the best quality but the paint (a few surface scratches) was better than I expected and the rack is excellent. The lock is slightly offset but still latches and it locks well. I don't have the backrest in the shot. I don't plan on using it and I'm going to plug the holes or make a smaller pad to fit in the space so I can put the tail bag between the seat backrest and the trunk. I'm also going to apply a rubber liner to the inside for added strength.

It's really nice to be on such a smooth running bike. I took it out yesterday and she shined right up, started with no problem, and rode nice and smooth.

looking for some ideas on a custom rear fender for the M. leaning towards a short bobber fender or even a rounded fender like the c50 but not as long if that makes sense. i don't know......just putting it out there to pick some brains.

Installed the John's Forward kit and new pegs. It would have been real easy and quick but for having to cut the pass-through hole in the chin spoiler. Its almost time to start riding here and I am getting antsy waiting for the weather to clear. Can't wait to get back into the "Riding Game" thread.

Glassman-that's a pretty sick fender. You fabricate it yourself?

i never understood the 50-90-109 jump
50-80-109 makes much more sense. and lines them up with honda and yamaha as far as offerings go. here's hoping they bring back the 1300.

I'm taking a shot in the dark and saying there going to do what Harley did, 883 ish,1200 and probably upgrade the 1800. I mean it makes sense in the way that hey, it worked for Harley, but then again that's comparing apples to oranges.
New plugs go in today, e3's. Let's see how these work.

Funny thing, I was thinking the same thing. It only makes sense to have something in the 1200-1300 catagory. Not that I wouldn't be interested in the 1800 but for messing around town it is overkill. I really like my M but I would like a little more power. Whenever I upgrade I will keep my M though because the black on black has me written all over it.
