Cheers, it's a total bummer.
Still, 3 wheels is still infinitely better than being stuck in a car.

Pulled off the cover today. Unusually mild winter here in the Tacoma/Seattle area, so he's coming out early!
Finally did the mmm bypass. What a difference! Charged up the battery, checked everything and did a nice wax. Then just listened to those cobra pipes rumble in the garage for a few minutes while checking voyages in different spots. Got time for taking it out for a cruise on Monday. Can't wait!

Installed my H.I.D headlight. Gave the bike a good cleaning and put the cover back on. Still a foot of snow in my area.
Well I checked the air and all of the vital fluids, pulled it out of hibernation, turned the key and hit the button and started it right up! You know, for the 5 years that I've had this bike I've never had any trouble starting after setting all winter. I do use stabil in the fuel, but that's really it. All of the other maintenance I do as it is needed.

I have had a drained battery twice this winter this year! I think if I get thru the summer w/o needing one I'll have to have one before winter.

I'v still got the original battery in my 2006 so it will probably go on me sometime this year.

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and would like some input on my new project I just finished. First time modifying a bike, so any input would be great. Looks pretty good, up until you got rid of that beautiful blue paint! Just messing, looks like you got a sweet rat bike going there. Those look like the original tires on that 06, might want to think about changing them.
