Bummer, it took me so long to get my pics loaded, I missed the boat.
Wow! You guys were on the ball today. I took off this afternoon excited for an excuse to ride down into the city on this 50 degree day only to return and find I had been beat out by both JmalB and QZephyr. So I will post my picture of the stadium and will hold my next submission until a day when I am a little quicker.
That's ok, I have to find a record store before it snows again. The recent snow kept me from a couple opportunities.
We are working at a slight disadvantage up here in the northern hemisphere. January and February aren't exactly our ideal riding months.
It's interesting to see a lot of snow in the background of some shots. Here in Sydney, it never snows.
We're lucky, I guess. Oriole park Baltimore is a famous ground. Watching The Wire on TV I can only surmise guys from Baltimore are pretty tough and snow wouldn't keep them indoors. (not if there was a drug deal to be done / busted anyway)
Good to see so much activity.
I had hoped to get my Shadow out of the garage while in Illinois for a few days......but that's not to be.
Given the few minutes difference, how about we accept EITHER a Record Store OR a Casino for the next round......in hopes of pulling in even more players........and on the theory that in some areas of the country/world neither one of those things exists close by.
Lord knows there are enough damn casinos around....![]()
I'm good with that. Oddly enough we don't have an independent record store anymore. Plus the recent snow made for a wet/dry/sandy street ordeal here. Not only do I need to wash my bike but I'm actually risking a possible dumping around any corner. I was one of only two bikes I saw yesterday and I got lots of stares, especially in the cemetery, and my straight shots could wake........never mind.
Looks like a loud pipes and brains thread just waiting to happen...![]()
While most of your northern hemisphere riders have been thinking about reconnecting your battery, here in the south we have been out and about ridin' and playin' the game. As there was both a casino and an independent record store submitted almost simultaneously I thought it fair to respond to both, so here they are:
The Star is Sydney's only licensed casino,
This record store has a nice orange M50 complementary colour scheme,
and finally please submit your favourite biker cafe.
This is Sydney custom bike builder Deus Ex Machina who do a nice line of cafe racers; you can admire them while having your panini and cappuccino. (Sorry to relate for QZ and other processed food lovers, there are no Twinkies or Little Hostesses or other porn sounding food served at this cafe)
