random update. mpg/last few tanks.
gas mileage is back to stock numbers (40 city / 53 highway). i blame this squarely on my right wrist not caring about what my wallet says about the matter.
been too busy to get the thing dyno'd(record only), sorry bout that. the seat of the pants gauge is still registering positive for everything that does not involve I-5 and I-80.

If you want a loud bike you must not do long rides. I am talking 3-400 miles a day. Once in awhile we ride with a loud bike and they are put at the back. If the loud pipes don't bother you the will the person behind you. When a loud bike passes you and you can still hear it over yours a 1/2 mile away I wonder how they can stand it them selves.

When my wife rides beside me on the right I can't hear what she says when she speaks. So in a way it's kind of a silencer (silence her).

With pipes like those you need a full face helmet so at least people cant tell who it belongs to. LOL Just kidding, Man what were you thinking? Look at the bright side anything you do from here on out is an upgrade.

I like the M-50 bobber look and those were my original plans. I wont lie I love the way it sounds but I'm concerned about mechanical issues.
I've been reading up a lot about this and there seems to be no clear cut answers.\
I am experiencing a decrease in gas mileage and exhaust backfire but not all the time. Only on deceleration and if I shift fast.
What do you all think? (cant wait to hear Easy Rider's response smh -__-)
Thanks for the help
