Well I don't own this 50 anymore, but this was my ride for three years before the Monster.

I put 3 inch Hard Krome exhaust on and modified my air box, which required re-mapping the fuel injection. I lowered the bike 3 inches and have custom cables from Barnett that I have not installed yet, as I am waiting for new bars. We are custom fabbing bars in black that sit up higher so I don't have to lean as I just had back surgery. I love the Michelin Commander 2 tires. They are soft on the outside and hard in the middle. High mileage and performance. The only bad thing is I am always looking for 6th gear. LUDU.

Just installed freshly painted air cleaner cover. In all she has V&H straight shots, John's Forward Controls, OEM sissy bar/package tray, Saddleman bags, and suzuki gel seat. next looking for integrated taillight, saw an M in OH yesterday with it, and it looks sweet.

Thank you and yes it is chain drive. New chain too by the way. Last one broke a few months back on my way to work. Lucky me, I was just pulling out of the gas station parking lot doing only 5 or 10 MPH when it happened.

Here's my 98. Mostly stock, but I still think it's beautiful. Debadged, depaired, and bar end mirrors. Exhaust and paint are the next projects when I get the time and money.

I think I notice an MSR 22oz fuel bottle. (I've been working for MSR/Cascade Designs for 25 years now.)

Thanks for the comments, guys. And yes, that's the correct fuel bottle...I plan for the worst when I motorcycle travel so that I never need to use it.

And if anyone at Suzuki is looking for a Project Manager who can take a decent motorcycle picture, I can make myself available
