    Another new member to forum

    I bought a 2008 M50, bumble bee edition last year (2012). I have owned bikes before and rode almost all brands. I really like my M50 and was happy to find this forum. I met a guy last year that had modified a Harley fairing and fit it to his M50. He had also taken the gearing out of a Suzuki 109 to get better Hiway performance. So, I see they are very modifyable. (is that a word?) I am thinking about a windshield though and wondered if anyone found a removable one that they were real happy with?

    Welcome to the forum, that yellow/black paint combo is a sweet one! Rear drive can be modified to give you lower rpm's, especially in 5th gear. Windshield questions are like oil questions, everybody has an opinion. I run a memphis shades pop top and am pretty happy with it. Minor buffeting but I've never rode a bike with a windshield that didn't have some sort of wind management problem.

    Ken Cooley is also a big fan of the bumble-bee paint scheme. Enjoy the bike and ride safely.

    Edit: Oh yeah. Yes, it's a word, but it's spelled "modifiable".

    Check out Cooley's site Shapemaster.com. The only M50/C50 some 90 accessory/mods of their type out there. Cooley is responsible for many 50 owners keeping their rides or keeping them longer. Get the 2" risers, you won't regret it.
    As long as it's not them that has to pay, no one really minds the debt.

    Cooley does discounts for forum members through the shape-master.com site. He can't do it on the ebay site.
