    Question Air Horn Questions/Comparison

    First, I read both:

I don't want to resurrect/hijack old and finished posts, so my questions are below:
    • With regard to the first link, I noticed a lot of people installed the horn with the air exhaust (proper term?) pointing forward. Isn't this asking for rain to break/flood it?
    • Similarly, I've heard mixed things on the durability. To those who've had it >1 years plus, has it held up? What about the fuse side of things?
    • I'm currently torn between the Stebel (Nautilus, I think) and the Denali Soundbomb Compact. Anyone have opinions, especially on the later?
    • It's been a few years since the original posts linked above, any other horns out there that I should consider?
    • Lastly, I'm sure this requires far more electrical hacking than I'm comfortable with, but has anyone added a toggle so they can switch between stock and air horn depending on the situation?

    Thanks.

I'm looking to put the Daneli Sound Bomb on my m50, it's apparently the most reliable. Just can't find anyone that has done it. Will keep an eye out here.

Here's something worth considering from Custom Dynamics. I don't have this item but I've had pretty good success dealing with the company.

$169 YIKES. OK, made for a Harley; should expect over-priced.

But I actually might pony up.....if it works good and is relatively easy to install.

I'd like something LOUD for my motorhome too.
Don't believe everything that you think.
