    Question Bandit 600 well not start?

    Hi can someone help me please the problem is that my b6 well not start. There is a good spark and she turns over ok but she still will not run. It all started When she went on to two (2 & 3) but new coil on her but nothing. New Bat no nothing

    There are all the thing that I have looked at :
    CDI ok
    clutch trip switch ok
    float height ok
    Coils left coil 1-4
    right coil 2-3 ok
    Bat ok
    Kill switch ok
    Side stand switch ok
    Pickups ok
    Timing ok
    Carbs ok

    Please help me !

    What do you mean by that? It was running on two cylinders?

    the coil went down on pots 1 & 4 no spark.

    Did you pinch a fuel line when you put it all back together?

    No the fuel line is ok and free. but no a good pint I got her to fire on one pot today.

    Keep in mind that I have seen many of these coils go bad also.

    Check for corrosion on the CDI pin connections also

    Good news she finally running,

    The problem was a dry joint in the cdi took the bike shop 10 mins to get the bastard running. So after 180, 8 set of spark plugs, new battery, new coil over 4 weeks of pain and misery and banging my head againt a wall and everyones help.

    It was all down to one pece of Solder. GIT!

    If the wife gave me as much trouble l'd have a new Patio!
