As a police officer, do you ever want to just wring somebody's neck-not because they misunderstand you, but because they do understand you?

let me elaborate with an example, my argument being I am not required to have insurance and forum handle b says I am required to have insurance. I feel I have won the argument then get in a wreck without insurance and am held liable for thousands in hospital bills and repairs, as a result of being a real smart rider.

Thank you.
I wonder how many other states work that way ?
(Just an idle thought, not necessarily expecting an answer.)
In your line of work I guess maybe it is not surprising how many people can't answer a simple "yes or no" question but it kind of amazes me.
The really sad part is that my spouse often falls into that category.![]()
Don't believe everything that you think.
YOU are the only one arguing.
I asked, several times, if liability insurance was required by state law and you STILL have not given a straight yes or no answer........but someone else did.
So........maybe a valid answser to the question in the original thread is: Move to a state that doesn't require insurance.
Don't believe everything that you think.
I think this has gone a little off topic, how can I save money on motorcycle insurance?

Most of all I wouldn't worry about the rates so much, just like riding a bicycle, swerve the potholes and obey traffic laws my first traffic ticket ever was 108 miles per hour I am surprised I can buy insurance.

MT, WA, and FL. That is what I got out of this 2009 site.

a small non race replica bike is fairly cheap to insure,
recent msft completion is a discount.,
some places offer student discounts, low mileage discounts. multivehicle discounts.
but the important thing is the bike. a brand new m50 is far cheaper to insure than a 10 yr old gsxr.
msft? low mileage, I could go for that.

oh, ok I thought low mileage meant on the vehicle all together.

I really wish people would pay attention to the keep right except to pass state law signs, maybe I was tailgating but there is no need to ride right next to a semi for 5 minutes due to some economy car in the left lane.

ok, I upgraded to 5k bodily injury insurance. priceless in comparison to injury with no insurance. I do think a motorcycle safety course would be ideal for young riders(or new riders in general). I had drivers education before I got my drivers license in 2003i got my endorsement in 2011. I am sure a few years with a regular drivers license would not be careless. I can't put enough emphasis on knowledge experience and wisdom to prevent incidents to keep the insurance company happy. My experience with my permit was exiting, I bent the rules once and rode at night in a group with riders with years experience

I just bought my first bike yesterday, and was thinking about getting a policy with fire and theft added. Trying to understand exactly what each type of insurance policy covers, so I guess the best way to ask is: what would this policy NOT help me out with? Say there's a crash and I get injured, the other driver gets injured, both vehicles are damaged, we both want to claim it's the others fault, etc. Worst case scenario, what am I missing out on if I don't get full coverage? Thank you...looks like I entered a heated discussion here but just wanted to take it back to the basics, lol.One step up from this is third party, fire and theft
PS kawiby2 - your signature isn't showing up correctly on my end, just see a bunch of style coding before your text, but maybe it's just my mac.
