Hello from Perth Australia

Just signed up and getting started looking around. Own a 1991 HD FXRP that we have completely restored but is currently in California waiting to transport to Perth for me to ride. Not easy bringing a bike into Australia. Currently riding a 2002 Suzuki Volusia 800.

....Welcome from the Pacific NW USA.
You'll love that FXR,I had an FXRS for 10 years,kept it through several other bikes and wish I had never sold it.
I put almost 120,000 miles on that bike and it never let me down,a smooth riding great handling cruiser it was too.

I did a complete restoration and built it to match my 1946 Chevy pick up. loved the quick ride I had on it when I was back in Tennessee for Christmas even when it was 20 degrees. can't wait to get it here. Enjoying my 2002 Suzuki Volusia at the moment. Best part you can ride every day here. would love to see a picture of your bike.

I'd like to see some pics of your bike/s and that cool '46 Cheby as well.

This is my old '84 FXRS,pretty much bone stock except for a little mild performance engine work,she had 125,000 miles on the clock and still looked pretty fair next to my then 1 year old 2000 ElectraGlide Classic. (the 2000 is coming up on 170,000 miles now by the way)

Great Looking bikes Y2K and looks like a great trip(s).

Here are some pics of my bikes and my 46 Chevy pickup. the truck was my grandpa's and my oldest brother bought it for his first car. All of us three boys drove it growing up in Iowa. Shelled 3 trannies out of it and then sat in a barn for 20 years. I then started the restoration and gave it to my Dad for his 80th birthday last year. Also pics of my 2002 Volusia and my 1991 HD that I restored.

Welcome Jockdoc, where did you grow up in Iowa? Nice wheels, all 6 of them. My dad had a '47 Chevy. When he got sick and knew the days were few, he sold it. He didn't want any of us fighting over it (even though I'm the only Chevy enthusiast in the bunch) or my mom to get taken by a buyer.
