    ts125x drinking fuel

hey guys, ive had my ts125x for around 3 days and possibly done around 20 miles and ive gone through 2 full tanks of fuel admittedly it appeared that it leaked the first time and i was told that was because i kept the fuel tap on reserve instead of off, eitherway i checked the fuel line to find a crack so i cut the cracked end off and checked it had no leak and its now fine and definitely not leaking all i can think of is that ive either been riding it on choke or there is something wrong with the carb any advice would be much appreciated. thanks paul

It may have a stuck float in the carb and be dumping fuel out the overflow.
Are you smelling gas while riding or when the bike is parked?
I'd replace that fuel line, was the bike running when you checked it? most bikes have a vacuum actuated switch on the petcock that will shut fuel flow off at the tank when the engine is not running.

I'm not sure what carb you have but it's typically something like this.
