Suziki Boulevard M50 2007 Shifting Problems

My 2007 M50 have 12000km on Clock. +_ 1000km after 10,000 service, I got shifting problems. It goes fine into 1st and 2nd, but then when shifting to 3rd, 4th and 5th, there is free play on the shifter and will not engage in the new gear. I then have to push the shifter up one or twice before it will go into higher gear. I had the bike at Suzuki dealer and they could not find the problem. I ride the bike every day, and it does not happen all the time.

Did you change riding boots lately ?

This sometimes means that the shift lever did not go DOWN far enough after the previous shift.......for whatever reason.

Double check your linkage adjustment and also that the pinch bolt on the shift arm is not loose and binding against the case.
