Newb from the Mississippi Gulf Coast
How do, y'all... Just getting back into motorcycling after a 20-year hiatus. The bikes I've owned, in chronological order, are: 1966 Honda CB160 (died, never revived); 197something Honda TwinStar 180 (got stolen, never recovered); 1978 Yamaha XS650SE Special (moved me and my first wife from Mississippi to Arizona); 1978 Suzuki GS750E (moved us back to Mississippi); another 1978 Suzuki GS750E (loved the first one so much!)... Then school, kids, work, etc etc got in the way for a while. In two weeks I'll be picking up my brand spankin' 2011 GSX1250FA -- oddly similar in so many respects to the 750's, BUT the first bike I've ever owned lacking a kick-start! I got to "birth" my new bike yesterday, putting the first 12 miles on its odometer. The wife and I are already planning a Spring trip through the Ozark/Boston Mountains of Arkansas to initiate ourselves back into the twowheeler club (any good road suggestions are welcome). Glad to be here... there seem to be a lot of good forums and good-er people.

Whatever you ride ride safe and keep the rubber on the ground and the shiny side up.

Thanks all! Hope to be a somewhat active participant as time allows... First order of business is to get some break-in miles on the new scoot!
Brussell, you're practically a neighbor! I've got an old bike-riding bud who lived in Monroe, last I heard. Had Nachitoches meat pies last time I visited with 'em.
Appreciate y'all saying hey...
