This is a once in a life time opportunity and I wanted to give you guys the first shot at it. (please lord, let someone here be dumb enough to bite on this.) My logistics man was hired away from me last week and I need to replace him. The job itself is pretty easy (he he he he), all you have to do is coordinate with a few fertilizer and chemical companies to make sure their trucks and our trucks are in the same place at the same time several times a day for up to a week in advance. The other perk of this position is the customers, farmers, hard working honest people, the salt of the earth.(they will hate you and you will grow to hate them)

Good salary. (lower 25% of wage earners)
Great coworkers. (smoke like chimneys, curse like sailors and are over weight, you must know CPR)
Optional over time. (not true, it's no option, 70 to 100hrs a week for three months)
Office with a view. (if you stand on your desk you can see out of one window, sorta)
Retirement. (7.5% will be taken out of your check, it will be matched by the company and placed in a federal lock box, these fund will be made available to you at age 65)

this reminds me why I never seriously applied to work for the canning co.

Full throttle from May until about October, then kind of fiddle faddle around and figure out what needs to be done next year.

Then rinse and repeat.
