My husband and I alternate between riding and building elements of a garden railroad. We are in the civil / structural engineering phase of it.... great fun to toss about ideas about how to build trestles...and a 5 foot long bridge across our little stream out back that looks realistic for an O gauge train...
    Ride long and prosper !

    Hmmm...

    Hobbies? Let's see...

Developing and maintaining a few web sites.
Spending time in the stable with our Quarter Horse.
Volunteer work - I'm the editor-in-chief of a Swiss project management magazine that is published twice per year.
    I'm a volunteer fire fighter.
I'm a forum moderator here and at mototreff.ch, a Swiss motorcycle forum.
My wife and I are in the early stages of building a house - so we're going to be moving back to Germany next year.
I just finished giving 3 days of lectures on Information Security at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and I'm preparing to give 3 days of training in November on "GAMP 5" (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices) in Frankfurt, Germany.
And occasionally I find time to actually do some work for my customers...

When I'm not riding, I'm either playing xbox, cleaning my guns, or at work. I'm a cop, so work takes most of what free time I might have.

I enjoy Hunting and Fishing with the wife and kids. We also are very involved in our children's lives. My oldest is in her first year at University of Albany and doing very well. The youngest is on the high honor roll and captain of the flag team which supports the Marching Band. They've done several Mets games, parades in NYC, etc. Also like racing around in my MX-5 convertible.

Man I miss hoping the train to NYC... MY son just qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program ( Duke Tips) he is 12 lol.. This is a program , you guessed it , to identify talented kids. He qualified by getting a 99% on his Fcat test ( missed 1 question damnit lol) Now they will have him take the SAT and see how he does with little or no prep .

Y2k not nice beating up on a V6....

this was my last project. 2001 GT with a Vortec SQ trim , 3.73 gears, shorty headers, o/r x pipe , dumped flow masters ,full auto meter guage cluster , mgw shifter , rear seat delete , Eibach springs , sub frame connectors welded in ,accufab plenum etc.. 474 RWHP. this pic was taken after the new 2 tone paint with the 03 cobra front end and roush wing ( still had stock wheels on from paint shop lol).. I blew a skinny front tire at 85 mph on the highway so lets just say I needed a lil paint lol..

used to do more of this and that, but lately work has been crazy.

Inspiron, what is the trip from Germany to work going to be like?

and why the move to Germany, anyway?

Haven't been reading all the posts or many threads around here lately, guess it shows.

One of these years I'm going to get the little old fishing boat back into the water.

As well as sell some junk that I've been meaning to get a couple of bucks for.

Looks like a fun car,my Z28 is stock except for being lowered 2" with an Eibach suspension kit and having a Flowmaster catback.
I did most of my hardcore Mustang beating 30 years ago in the old '69 lol.
Most didn't expect a Vette 427 under the hood.
