That would have been my second guess, it looked really dark around the shoulders. I like the pic. Is that your Christmas card?

Well, anybody who does Santa for the kids is tops in my book. The more authentic the better. I would love to do that someday. I would probably want to learn to speak spanish first.

I forgot to add that this costume is Father Christmas...not Santa. This museum set the stage for Christmas in 1880... this is probably what people thought of at that time. The beard is all his...and the rosy cheeks are genuine...from a lifetime of enjoying irish whiskey...and good Islay scotch...

I've been playing Santa for the family for years...let me tell you...it can be fraught with danger.

Once broke a rib falling down a flight of stairs. Its a long story, but somehow I guess I made it seem funny to everyone. I couldn't figure out why no one seemed to care I was in pain. They just kept flopping into my lap and I kept seeing stars each time they landed.

The wife only realized it when I was done and back upstairs changing. She was commenting on how funny and what great a time everyone was having, and I just said..."Look if you won't give me a ride to the hospital I am going to drive there myself!"

and to think that they say the Irish have not contributed anything of significance to society, bah.
