    What are you having????

For New Years Joan and I will enjoy herb pork chops with sauerkraut, cornbread, homemade mash potatoes, spiced collard greens, baked corn, and my specialty, homemade pecan pie.
In any case may you and yours have a healthy, happy and prosperous 2012.
    I bid you peace.

Homemade pizza! Pepperoni, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, bacon bits and artichoke hearts. Yum. Oh and lots of vodka. The vodka is separate from the pizza though

We had Raclette (melted cheese) with a buffet of grilled meats, ham, salads, potatoes and bread.

It was a truly international evening - at one point, there were conversations going on in 4 different languages: English, German, Russian and Persian. There were people from Russia, Croatia, Afghanistan, Germany, South Africa, UK and the USA there.

OTDRIVER Great Post. I drove the I-81 / I-70 Junction on my way to Florida for the past 13 Years. Now live on the West Coast. I will have to try herb pork chops with sauerkraut.

INSPIRON Had to check where you were from. Raclette is new for a lot of people here. Originally from Quebec, so I can appreciate what you had for dinner.

We had a special guest, our daughter from England. She left for her home on New Year's Eve, so we had our New Year's Eve Dinner on the Eve of New Year's Eve. We had Garlic Fried Shrimp, Scalloped Potatoes ( Patates Dauphinoise (spelling might not be right)), Stir Fried String Beans, and Filet Mingon. Oh Yea, Red Wine was also available. GOOD TIMES !

I think I might skip dinner to drive that Lotus, if that's what Panda was suggesting. I had frozen pizza so it would have been an easy decision.
