VERY good movie. That is one of my favorites.![]()
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure...
don't know how I blew 2 fuses in different vehicles - only thing I come up with, is there was a small surge when plugging in the gizmos and the fuses blew. Remembering in both cases that the cigarette lighter/ utility plug tripped on both vehicles.
Can't remember the last time I saw a blown fuse in a car; wait, there was that one guy who added fog lights with light gauge wire (thin wire, something like 18 -- 20 gauge) and it was draped over the engine and probably shorted out a whole bunch of everything.
On a car that wasn't worth $1500.
In other news, I am observing the cubs going right down the toilet, as usual - 22 games below five hundred and there is a good month of baseball left.
Couldn't put "fail" across Lolo's picture, but she did come in 4th in the 100 m hurdles - still one heck of an effort.
22 games below 500? Cubs?
Please explain for us non Yanks
Simple. The Chicago Cubs are a notoriously bad baseball team.
In order to have as many wins as losses the Cubs will need to win 22 straight games.
Which they have no chance in hell of doing. They are more than notorious, they wrote the book on sucking.

Being the President's home team, wouldnt that help the cubs? Or then again, maybe not.
I'd buy one for my father in law![]()
for the "non yanks" on the board - a 0.500 record (the season is 162 games, so wins and losses is easily lost track) is a gauge - above 0.500, you have a chance at the playoffs, made ever more complicated every few years since about 1969 (the last time the leading al and nl teams went right to the world series, no playoffs, no nothing, just the world series)
When you are below 0.500 (mind 162 games, one heck of a marathon, and most players only play about 120 - 130 games in any given year due to injuries, poor hitting, poor fielding, etc) the number of games below 0.500 becomes a barometer to how much would it take to get back to even and some degree of respect.
In other news, I was looking over the fuses in my car and lo and behold, my airbag system has a fuse.
If that fuse blew, other than getting in an accident and the airbag not deploying, how would I know if the fuse was not blown?

What kind of car is it? Most have some kind of warning light nowadays. Should tell you if anything is wrong with the system.

observing how the hot dry summer quickly (recently) gave way to cooler and wetter (normal precipitation) weather.
Not like it's going to help the crops.
It also took a second to realize that the airbag light would stay lit - I think the 98 monte carlos had a light anyway. It's the 2nd generation (less prone to break your face to save you) than the original airbags - thinking around 93 - 94 they were required.
