    washing hands vs static electricity

    my friend Hans Washington says that running water from pipes that go into the ground will ground out my static electricity. I believe him does anyone have any facts to contradict my trusting gullible nature?

    And somewhat wierd too.
    Why should anyone care ??

    Scientifically, it depends on how pure the water is and how much plastic pipe there is in the path.
    Don't believe everything that you think.

    the water has to go to a metal pipe in the ground somewhere, plus it is flu season.
