yes, i'm ranting
so i went to the local harley/aftermarket bike shop to order my k&n pod airfilter. the shop is staffed by the owner, a man, and two women, one of them his wife.
this is the guy who told me my bike's timing was off, and didn't believe me when i said no it just needed rejetting. this is the guy who won't call me when my parts come in or when my stuff sells.
anyways, so he won't have anything to do with me. and his wife knows NOTHING. so she ended up ordering the wrong sized filter. it'll be a week till i can get in there to reorder.
and another week til i get it.
i SO have a problem with this situation.

I would . . . and I'd make it a point to mention to everyone that the service at the new shop is fantastic.
I'm guessing the guy has a chip because you're a girl (and you can out-ride him)?
[EDIT: Wait. You're in Dallas/Ft. Worth? You've got PLENTY of choices, lady!!]

Sunny, A friend of mine and her husband run Pool's bike shop in Baulch Springs. He is absolutely the best mechanic in this part of the country and his wife knows more about parts than most folks have forgotten. Give them a shot. I know they will treat you right. I realize it is a bit of a haul, but they are good people.
Oh, he's very popular Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, d!ckheads--they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

i put d/fw because it's alot easier that saying 50 miles southwest of dallas, or 35 miles south of fort worth.
i went to jim's cycle shop in axtell texas last saturday. and even though it's a long haul and they are a mainly harley/chopper/aftermarket shop, i'll try them as they have good prices and lots of stuff i can use in stock. and the one guy seemed to believe my friend when told that i wrenched my own bike and was in the process of fixing it up.
he was cute too.
