    Red face Engine Guards

I like the looks of the "Fatty Freeway Bars" from Cobra !

Has anyone seen the Yamaha fat ones ?

NEW Genuine yamaha Roadliner and Stratoliner Big sized Engine Guard.

    Part Number: STR-1P731-20

Are they nicer still or not as good ?

No John, but I to am looking for the best ones. I have only seen pictures. I think I like the fatty. I think they are square'er in shape. The Yam look to be more of a tear drop or heart shaped. One of the guys here on the forum has the Yam type. They look OK but I think I like the square shape that the fatty has. Don't know for sure. I would like to see them on the bike.

The cobra fatty freeway bars are 1 1/2 dia. and have a large area where you can mount road pegs. The yam bars are 1 1/4 dia. and have a limited area where you can mount road pegs. There about $50 buck different, Cobra being $150. $50. bucks cheaper. Check them out I'm going to get one of the two. I don't think I like the the shape of the yam.

    Talking Crash Bar

Why do they show the cobra on a harley ?????
    That's just dumb.
How are you supposed to picture it ?
Are you sure that it would be that rounded shape on a roadliner ?
I like the rounded shape with the larger tubing.

I can't tell from the angle it shown on. It looks a lot like a YAM, but I can't tell for sure.

It's weird that nobody is bidding on the cobra's & the yamaha one is up to $180.

I went with the Yamaha bars. I liked the look as to keep with the Strato lines. I also added a set of Pilot pegs.
I'll try to post a pic of it. I had the Barons on my Royal but like these better as far as looks go.

    Cool Cobra & Rifle

I went with the Cobra bars & Rifle windshield mod !

I won't put highway pegs on 'cause I couldn't reach 'em anyway.

I sent the seat out to customize & the risers & license plate mods came today.

Jammin'John, take a look at these pegs: Starpegs

    They may fit you better.

Hello, all! I'm a new Midnight Strat rider in Houston. Had this beautiful ride for only a few weeks, but it is just a great bike!!! Coming to Yamaha from the VTX world.

The strato already scrapes sooner than I would like it to.......

Those pegs look like they would make it worse.........

After seeing the bars on the bikes here . I'm going with the fatty freeway bars from Cobra. There bigger in size and the tube is a larger diameter. I also like the longer down tube. The vertical area where you can add foot pegs and change the height. Also the bars stick out beyond the running boards.
