Duc Streetfighter showered with approval

The Ducati Streetfighter has just been bestowed with three separate awards from various sources. Looks like the Streetfighter plan panned out as they had hoped.

It's a good cross between their Superbike and the Monster line.

It's time I start to get serious about selling one of my cars to make room

It also got "Naked Sportbike of the Year" in the latest issue of Fast Bikes (Britmag), beating out the Street Triple R, the CBR1000R, the Super Duke R, and the BMW K1300R.

I find it midly amusing that these bikes are even called "Streetfighters". The general riding positions look like "Standard" riding positions,,,, as in "Universal Japanese Motorcycle" or UJM to me. Since these things are coming from a variety of places, just take out the "J". Sort of like how "SUV"s and "Crossovers" would never dare to be called stationwagons.
