    Time out for a second.

How about you FINISH the first thread you started by telling us how your electrical problems turned out FIRST before we attack a new problem, please ???

And it might be better to put the NEW problem in a NEW thread; you might get a better response.

did you check the magnet that the goes around the stator on the crank shaft??....check if its broken missing pieces maybe bent or dented??..dont know how hard it hit..did you check the ignition wires closest to the ignithon to see if they got cut and are touching??

To truly check the draw on a battery with the key off is by check amperage draw. When you check the voltage of a battery, not running a full charged battery should read 12.5 to 12.75V. A running bike can show a normal voltage of between 13.75 to 14.5 volts and most will be about 14.35V. When you check the voltage of a bike trying to start, it can drop the voltage to as low as 11.5 volts.

A shop manual can show you exactly how to check the amperage and volts correctly.
