Complaint about how the site works with "googleads"
I've been having trouble with the "back" button on my browser for a LONG time now......on some sites.
I thought the problem was at my end. Not so.
Just today, I realized that some URLs from googleads are being loaded into my browsers page history......BUT clicking the back button to "select" that URL in the stack produces no action on the screen whatsoever, making it look like the "back" function has failed.
This is bad form on your part. It is VERY frustrating and confusing.
It needs to be addressed and FIXED.

My back button works on this site, be sure you are clicking on the left side of the button. (LOL)
Actually I am feeling good about my computer system, I just installed a wireless network printer on my home network. I spent nearly two hours using the instructions that came with the printer with no success. After I disregarded the instructions that came with the printer and done it on my own it took 15 minutes and works great.

I haven't experianced your problem yet but I have awful problems with spell check on here. It will do all kinds of bizzare stuff. Also I don't see a cursor while typing sometimes and it will just blip back to the middle of a sentence. Pretty frustrating.

i've seen something similar with ie9 but ie9 drives me crazy with some of the goofy things it does. doesnt happen to me with firefox or chrome.

I kicked it upstairs. Let's see what we get from it.

Hmmm I've never experience this issue. What browser are you running? We'll take a look into this here shortly

IE8 under Windows 7.
Once you figure out what's going on, it is easy to identify.
A googleads URL shows up on the "pulldown" list right next to the back button.
As I would have expected, I haven't had the problem since I posted my complaint.
Edit: it just happened again. Maybe those entries only show up in the pulldown list AFTER the back button has failed.
I can't seem to "copy" the entry; it is something like https://googleads.h.doubleclick.........

Hi Easy Rider, I'm also a chrome user, but I've tested this on my IE9 under windows 8 and everything worked ok there. I clicked all over the site and checked the back button history with no sign of google frames in it. Also, clicking the back button did what was expected (took my to the last page viewed). I would suggest getting google chrome, but if you really like IE are you able to upgrade it to version 9?

Probably will "upgrade" to 9 soon.......now that it's been out for a while.
The "googleads" entry on the back-history only appears occasionally....then after an unsuccessful "back" attempt, there are two similar entries.......then once you do get back, they both disappear.
I think it is probably something "cute" that doubleclick is doing; they are known for not playing nice sometimes.

I have a similar problem with miata.net while using IE. Only happens at work though since I use Firefox at home.

Yes I realized after I posted this that I am having an indentical problem with another site too.
Maybe Firefox does a better job of blocking whatever nonsense that googleads/doubleclick is trying to do.

A lot of forum's don't work well with ie, I hear that complaints a lot (also some Facebook games don't play well with ie, and that's like the end of the world for people).
The fix? Chrome. Everyone who's come to me with their ie problems have been quiet happy with chrome. Firefox is dying along with ie, because their slower. I can't think of anything as slim at the waist and as quick on the draw as chrome. Plus angry birds! :p

I had a friend was having some facebook game compatibility problems with Chrome. I wonder if that's been fixed.
