stp sees this, ouch.
Sean do not even think about it. I can see you blasting past some cute chick and winding up the rear of a SUV.
MAN OH MAN OH MAN!!!!!! That is a sharp bike!!!!!! Now accepting donations and names towards a life insurance policy!!!!!
No Signature needed.
I like the 'Busa looks better.

yeah from a cosmetic stand point I would totally agreeOriginally Posted by Louis
looks interesting but i still think in a heads up race down the drag strip it would be a riders race.
That is how it should be. Kawasaki made it's name building muscle bikes. I knew it was a matter of time before this would happen.

My original link ended up not working this morning but I found a different link this morning and thats what your seeing now; but on the original link they had a pic also of the limited edition kaw. 636 that'll becomming out too I'll see if I can find that one again. That one will probably be a 50/50 shot as far as sales go I think, its quite a "bling" bike, quite a few touches of chrome and the main color was silver with ALOT of sliver flake in it, but being a limited edition I'd think they'd still sell plenty.
dam that is a ugly bike
Their 1200 with more power than a busa could never beat a Busa in top end performance.
Now they've gone to 1400cc's still in the hopes of taking the lead.
IMHO it's a toss up till I see some real world results.
Yadda yadda yadda, whatever, they ain't going to listen anyway.
I'm sure the trade mags are fighting each other to get their hands on the first one to do a head to head shoot out with the other liter and liter+ bikes out on the market and get it on the news stand. It's not the most attractive bike out there nor does it have the newer smaller rear end stylings of the 06 R1/R6 and 06 GSXRs but I'm sure there are those with a death wish. And I heard the ZX-10r was way to much for the street, guess we'll have to see how this one is recieved.Originally Posted by Uncle Bob
The 06 Kawasaki ZX 14R is juat too bulky to look aerodynamic. No doubt, the power and speed may surpass the Hayabusa but lookwise, it looks just too clumsy. Could you imagine how heartbreaking it can be should you drop the bike while riding at fast speed? Or whether you could survive such a fall or impact? Doesn't make sense to me to get such a bike if you're commuting in the city with busy traffic unless of course, you intend to ride it from state to state.![]()
That's the problem with the ZX12R, although it has more power it's still slower than a Busa because of the superior aerodynamics of the Busa.Originally Posted by Aie
BTW we're just debating performance facts and figures here. Don't think any of us are suggesting these bikes should be wrung out on public roads.

kind of what I was thinking. Saki couldn't beat zuki with a bike in the same class so they had to try it with a bigger motor. lol. I wouldn't think suzuki would take it lying down though. I wouldn't be surprised if the busa was do for an upgrade.Originally Posted by Uncle Bob
