How to adjust vz800 clutch able

I am not having any clutch problems with my 02 marauder, but just got it and would like to adjust the clutch. Buying from a private owner you never no how things are set up. It feels fine but I would feel better if I adjusted it myself. Can anyone tell me the step by step procedure to set it properly. Also doing and oil change and plugs. Is full factory syn okay and do I have to lift the gas tank to reveal the plugs. Any help would be great. I will post pics soon as this is a custom marauder that I have really not seen set up like before. thanks

    What ??

And if there is a tiny bit of slack/ free play in the clutch cable as observed at the pinch point by the lever pivot........don't mess with it. Once set correctly, they don't need frequent adjustment.......unless the cable starts to stretch, which is a sign to get a new cable.

If it is a hydralic clutch, they require "adjustment" even less often.......and someone else will be along to talk about that.......but the following rule applys:

And as a general overall rule: IF it ain't broke, don't fix it.
