    89 RM 250 won't start or run

    I have a 89 Rm 250 dirtbike, I bought it not running really cheap. I was told it needed a top end rebuild because it would start if you bump started it. So I did a top end rebuild, piston, rings, had the cylinder hound. After that I still couldn't kick start it. I put a new plug in it. And it had spark. It's got a brand new air filter. I took the carb apart and cleaned everything. All jetting is stock. The bike is all stock. I've checked to make sure it wasn't the kill switch. I've put a fresh tank of gas in it. Mixed 32.1. And still no luck. I was thinking that the spark may be out of timing. Anybody have and suggestions. I'm stumped. Thanks for any input.
