M50 windshield
Recently bought a 2008 M50Z and am loving it. So much nicer than the tiny Rebel I was riding before. Still somewhat new to the biking world though and I appreciate how great everyone's been with advice. So here's my newbie question. While riding on the freeway (I usually keep in under 65) the wind off the stock windshield hits me directly in the face and chest (I'm 6' even). I also noticed that the bike seems to get pushed around quite a bit even with minimal weather-related wind. I'm thinking of changing out the windshield and looked at some options on-line. Anyone out there willing to give me their advice? I'd love to hear what you switched to, what you love, and what you wish you never spent $ on. Should I get more than one shield for different riding conditions? Also, I do like to take my wife around so I'd like to know if whatever windshield you like helps for the pillion as well.
Thanks again.

i went with the national cycle switchblade.
the deflector gets most of the ride time its smallish like the oem suzuki shield. good for around town/short hops but not really useful for sustained 70+mph riding. but i can pop on the 2up for long runs.
the deflector is adjustable so you can move the wind off your chest. but its too short to keep your head out of the wind. the 2up is perfect for me at 6'2 next to no wind on the helmet. but i hate big windshields around town.
pretty happy with the combo but its a bit pricey.
memphis shades has a couple of quick release shields you should also look at some of the other folks around here have them,

I love my National Cycle Switchblade really easy to remove but some might not like it I have the chopped I think its like 15 inches and moves the wind from my chest to my face .

I had the same problem when I bought my 2008 M50. I am 6'-2" and the wind just crushed me. I bought this shield and have been very satisfied with it, especially the price. I could still raise it about another 1-1/2" if I needed to. It also tilts back and forth.
