There's a Vic dealer in town I drive by often. Stopped to shop a few times, and was very attracted to a nice deal on a leftover touring model (old style). But, the new models are quite impressive! Maybe when there's a few used ones out there...

i ride a TC and it is about the only bike Victory makes
whoops they don't make it anymore.
the handling is just great and i would buy another if i could afford it.
yesterday i was riding with a couple of sport bikes and hell through the twisties they couldn't even loose me at least not by far.lol
you better grab up that TC they won't be around long

it ain't hard to demo a Victory all the dealerships
down this way will let you demo any model.
not like HD who wants you to rent one for a day to demo it.

as for riding here look up our national byways the Loess Hills run from Missouri
all the way into S.City some of the best riding in this part of the country.
all varied from twisties to hills and long sweepers, great riding so if you ever get to this part of the country again just look me up and i will take you on some of our best riding.
and this also goes for anyone else on the forum. i love them hills and know all of the good roads.

I think this is the area and not farther west but in all my travels I have never seen so many birds. The Canadian geese for a few days number in the hundreds of thousands if not millions. It is an incredible sight to see.
As far as making it to NE again, doubtfull. I drive a desk now and Omaha is a twelve hundred miles from Southern Ontario. Now I might just take you up on that if you would let me take the Victory for a test drive . . .

i will tell you there are some exceptional deals out there in used TCs
mine is an 03 i bought it from a friend it had 14k on it when i bought it
with the custom tins and mustang seat along with all the other do dads
that where on it he had close to 20k in it and i bought it for 9k
i couldn't beat the deal. but i have noticed others going in this price range
    without the flames.
i rode a 99 vic for 4 yrs and after the faulty tranny was upgraded at 7k miles under warranty
i never had to have it back in the shop and it had 64k miles on it when i sold it
the guy i sold it to has added another 8k on it and it still has not had to have any service
the 99 and 2000 had alot of faulty trannys but Polaris did right by me.
since 02 the bikes are pretty much bullet proof.
there is a guy in NY as a mater of fact he is the Abate prez for the state of NY
he has 174k miles on a 99 but of course it has needed some work but not alot.

Dave....without a doubt, the m109 ,,leaves my vegas in the dust...even with the stage one kit on the vegas its still no contest...2nd gear its, bye bye..I rode a few weeks back with my victory buds and kinda showed them what the zuki had...flicks in the corners good and and run like a scraped ape...(bought the victory after the m109)(and I didnt buy the victory cause it was fast.) I REALLY love my victory also..It has lots of Bling ,,great power and is just more comfortable and easier to ride(especially on longer trips).....With my frame(5.10 and 220),,the victory is just plain FUN all the way around(gets better mileage 2, 45MPG vs 35MPG)...I've logged about the same amount of miles on both this year and only had the victory 3 months vs.all year for the zuki.I'd like the zuki more if the aftermarket wasnt so slow about gettin it done,,.(wheels, chrome access,etc)...Straight line,,,go fast all time ,,hands down the zuki...Bling,,Great lines,,hardly no plastic parts,lighter... smoother lines,,better fit and finish....victory hands down..and no issues at all,,where the m109,,has been back to the shop 3 times..and I ended up fixin it myself...oh,,better customer relations with the victory dealer vs. the zuki dealer,...I wont be back for nothin there(zuki of florence,Ky)..Sorry so long.... Dave, what kind of pipes do you have on? Would they fit a 05 Kingpin?

the pipes are just the Victory stage 1 pipes. and all that you see are the heat shields. i have never heard of anyone putting them on a kingpin.
why do you ask are you looking to move some kingpin pipes
so ya got one on each side and can mount bigger hard bags?

that seems to be a common problem amoung some kingpin owners.
but i have seen it done.looks good to and you can put some bags on them that can hold some goods. the stock bags are a joke about the size of a football. IMO one of victorys problems they are building for solely the looks of the bike, and just dont seem to worry much about the function.

im glad i ride a TC with the huge bags i carry alot of tools, spare parts and crap.
probley 40lbs of extra weight at all times. but if i or anyone im riding with have any problems we can usely get em home.

if you dont know about theVMC. check it out. it is the best source for Victory
    info that there is.
