Which One?
I've never seen a Victory that really turned me on until today. Had one ride slowly past as I exited a store, and it was perfect! It had black wheels kind of like the M50, a blacked out engine case in the crinkle finish like some of the HDs, and had some custom shorty pipes - black crinkle - that sounded just right. I looked on Victory's website, and didn't see one like it. Anyone know what model it could be? I can't afford one, but would just like to know. It had a paper tag on it and looked to be brand new, so I don't think it was a total custom job. By the time I wiped the drool from my chin he was too far away to chase down.

I'm not even a big fan of the Victory but Hammerpete, that is one sexy back end you got on her!

By the look of their website, it might have been an 8-ball, but it was definately modified a bit. Someone must have powdercoated the wheels black, and it had black coated custom exhaust. I've seen those pipes too before. Cool bike.

Yes that would be an 8 ball. But your can have anything powdercoated. I know of a few that have hacked up new hammers already.

I am kinda diggin' the new V-Max. I saw it at the International Motorcycle show a few weeks ago. It is still in concept stage but it looked wicked and they let you sit on the current design they are offering.
Although it might be a little top heavy,, it would give the Hammer a run for the money if they build it.

Stp The V-max and the Hammer are two different types of bikes. One is inline and the other V-Twin style. Like I said My V-twin is fun with the low end torque...but by no means is it a Rocket. No V-twin out there can compare to a inline sport bike. We have it down low but the inline bikes have all the top end. Kp's Busa has hit 215mph. He has walked away from me and made me looking stationary...will i was still accelerating.
Mine says it will do 120mph. It'll do the 1/4 in 11.50 sec's. That is fastest enough for me. Remember it is a whole different world without a windshield.

Ain't that the truth! My little inline 600 still continues to amaze me with its speed and maneuverability. However, speed is not required to make my 800 v-twin fun to ride, although it would make a nice bonus.

Yeah So imagine my lil brother's 1300 busa. It is a 99 Model. No governor. Just sick.
I agree V-twins are for cruising the boulavards and mountain roads.

The VMax not an inline 4, it's a V4, the same engine that is in the Royal Star Tour and the Venture - although the tuning is a little milder in the bigger bikes. The 165 mph Suzuki TL 1000R proves V-Twins aren't just for lugging along. Ducatis V-Twins are fast bikes too, or so I hear.
I did see one guy who builds custom choppers with the TL 1000 V-Twin engine. Wow.

Ok so there are few exceptions. IE the old style v-twin that is made to vibrate with the out of balance crank throw.
The V-max is a V- style...but a totally different animal compared to the crusier of that brand.

Saw that stinking Victory again yesterday.....twice! Still not sure what model it is, but it's either a custom job or one I've never seen advertised. Aftermarket-looking exhaust that has been wrinkle-finished, and the entire engine/trans case is black wrinkle too. And I drooled again. Both times.
