    You know my opinion.
    Nothing beats my Vic.
While the HD's are very nice bikes. The fatbob, fatboy 1200xr, drag rod, v-rod, deluxe and street glide/road glide. I have ridden them all.
Unfortunatley they do not make the DUECE anymore.
I guess it all depends on what your looking for in a bike. Really your opinion is all that counts.
If I were to get a cruiser with bags it would be a coin toss between the crossroads and the road glide.

They have a direct comparison between the Cross Country and Street Glide.

If I were to buy a Harley it would be the Street Glide but after seeing both the Cross Country and Cross Roads the Street Glide would be 3rd on that list...........

I went down to my local vic dealer and sat on the black cc and cr.
I loved the cc as soon as I sat on it.The floorboards could be used for surfing.
Another thing I like about the cc is the weight. Its roughly 200 pnds lighter than the vision.I sat on the vision and right away said this is way to heavy for me.I also like the space in the saddlebag that holds your ipod.(optional wiring sold separately of course).I'm going to try and run my m50 about 2 more years and I am then going to purchase me one of them there cc.'s
If your going to criticize someone you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you criticize them, your a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well as it turns out, as nice as the BMW R 1200RT is, I just can't seem to be without a real cruiser, so when I decided to sell/trade the Road King, the only 3 bikes that were on my short list was the Star Stratoliner Deluxe, the Harley Street Glide, and the Victory Cross Country.

I was never able to score a test ride on the Star, and without a test ride I don't buy so it was out, that left just the HD, and the Victory, I rode both bikes several times, and to tell the truth I really couldn't decide which one I liked better, so it finally came down to price, and the out the door price on the HD was $3000 more than the Victory, so I am now the proud new owner of a beautiful black Cross Country.

Congrats on the new bike! I really like what Polaris is doing with these bikes, just wish I had a local dealer. Nearest place that sell them is 2 hours up the road.

The Cross Country and the Vision were the only two bikes I didn't ride when the travelling road show came thru Tucson.
