It's true that every time you hear a bell ring, an angel gets its wings...
But what they don't tell you is that every time you hear a mouse trap "snap", an Angel gets set on fire...

Sky Captain. Find someone riding an S50. Do a top gear roll on. The S83 has its advantages. The S50 and S83 are two different beasts. Comparing those two motors is like comparing a motor from an SV650 to the S50's.
DrBob know his Sh*t! I'm impressed.
What is the lean angle on the 800 and 1400? Don't remember that being published anywhere? Just curious.
You guys remind me of the bass fisherman who buys a 21ft. boat with a 225hp motor. My question is this why. The object is to get there and be able to fish once you stop.

Real Men Drift on Two Wheels.
Professional riders have been testing the VS1400 for 20 years, and yet on the very first try you managed to beat the best quarter mile time they ever recorded by over a full second! Sure you did! Really, I believe you! Honestly, I do!Originally Posted by sky captain

If that is true where are the stats? Only know of two references and there not really sourced to "professional riders". Cruisers don't seem to get tested like the sport and super sport bikes. There doesn't seem to be any real good data bases on "cruiser performance" out there other than mostly anecdotal.Originally Posted by DrBob

A lot of factors can come into play. Weather conditions (temp, humidity, etc), rider, altitude, individual bike, track conditions, etc.Originally Posted by sky captain
