Any suggestions on getting the sticker and the Boulevard emblems off ?....Ive heard dental floss doubled up and tied around screwdrivers for the emblems, and Goof Off for the sticker on the tank...

Or is it Goo Gone ? One of those is safe for the paint and one isn't.
I think Goo Gone is safe; maybe someone else remembers better.

I used a heat gun to get the sticker off and then Goo Gone (I think) for the remaining glue.
Don't believe everything that you think.

If you are repainting maybe just use some laquer thinner, you need to sand it down to metal anyway right?
    Are you reusing the emblem?

Heat the emblems up really well with a hair dryer and take dental floss to the tank badge and saw back and forth till you get the badge off. Then use goo gone or wd-40 on the sticker residue and then polish and wax. The M50 stickers on the side just pull off with some heat applied. Some of the warning and information stickers can be a pain to remove because they want to chip off instead of pull off.
Y2K, some of us just don't like stickers and badges on our bikes. I think it makes the bike look cleaner and I for one do not care for providing free advertising for any company. I pulled the badges and stickers off my Vic the week I bought it and would do the same with any bike I buy in the future.

Well OP says he's going to do body & paint work so I'd say; why the care to be so careful about the paint?
It's gotta be sanded if not stripped completely anyways.

You would think so but people soon figure out my game when they don't see oil leaks in my garage or me on the side of the road because I am broke down again.....
Y2K, just noticed with this post we both had the exact same number of posts! Can't wait for Spring to break out here next week so I can quit hanging out on these forums and go riding instead.

Lol,I could post a pic of my garage floor,no oil under my ride and I'll bet you won't find a metric on the site with more miles if any bike at all other than maybe one of Doc's Harleys .
That should even the post count .
