    On a 30+ year old bike ??
    Not cost effective I think.

Does it have a "modern" halogen bulb in it now ?

A brighter bulb would probably be a better choice.
Don't believe everything that you think.

Everything is original equipment, I just want the headlight to be a little more brighter at night.

there are a bunch of options for what to do about a brighter headlight.
the cheapest is to get a brighter bulb for the existing lamp housing. something like a silverstar ultra or piaa xtreme. generally this is good enough.

hella makes some stupidly bright bulbs for stock housings. if you go with that option you should also replace the connector with a ceramic version as they've been known to melt the stock plastic ones. even with the connector this is a pretty inexpensive solution.

i doubt theres a premade hid kit for that bike. but it can be done. you might need to replace the housing as well due to heat issues.
if your going that route theres also led options. check out trucklight and custom dynamics.

you might also consider just adding some driving lights.
