    Stock pipes...but, louder

I really like the look and length of the stock exhaust C50T, but want to go a little louder.

    Any suggestions?

Start drilling. There are plenty of threads about modding the stock pipes.

I also posted on this FB and someone mentioned drilling. So, I searched "remove baffles from stock pipes" on YouTube and found several that were useful. Mainly to simultaneously drill 1-1/2" hole around the baffle and 3" bordering the muffler wall, then using a broomstick to move baffle around to break front weld. Someone suggested that they just drilled five or six 1/2"-3/4" holes around the baffle and got the same effect. Might try the drill first, then if needed, remove the baffle.

Start small. Your post said a "little" louder so drill and test before drilling more holes. Good luck.

Start with the Honest Abe Mod. You can learn to do that on Youtube...it's pretty easy. I did the mod a little at a time on my OEM exhaust...it was okay. Not nearly as nice as aftermarket pipes but works for most folks...so give it a try.

    Good luck.

Congrats'...sounds good! I didn't mind the Honest Abe mod either...for allot of people it's just what the doctor ordered. Even folks who prefer stock quiet exhaust don't usually mind this one. It's not tons louder just a little and much nicer V-Twin sound / tones.

Well done and glad it worked out.

This is the exhaust mod that was done to mine before I bought it. Sounds much better than the Honest Abe mod.
