    First Impressions (C50 BOSS)

I just got home with my new 2014 C50 B.O.S.S. (BOSS from now on).

Love the sound. Pleasant. Not ridiculous.

Power. Holy cow. My old Harley 2003 883 Hugger with a 1200 swap needs tuning badly. I know the carb is all mucked up.

Very comfortable. Wide tank is opposite of the peanut harley tank. Smooth ride. So you're SUPPOSED to see things in those mirrors?

Have to get used to: turn signals are both on the left. Heel shifting. Clutch better after a few miles. The rear turn signals don't run as running lights?

Now the weather needs to cooperate.

No not on any make or model since they started making them amber.

This make my day. To hear from a bike rider who is in love with his new ride.

Sounds like you are enjoying your new ride...congrat's! They are great looking bikes.

As far as the rear turn signals acting as running lights..nope. However, Kury makes an interface you can install to do just that. But heck, it's very easy (and inexpensive) to change the turn signals to LED's and combined with the Kury unit a very good way to go. There is a plug and play (literally) turn signal relay available for Suzuki's that only runs about $10 that works beautifully with either LED or incandecent lights...meaning you won't need load resistors in the circuits anywhere if you go to LED's. I've converted both my C50 and C90 over to LED's...a very worthwhile (and luminous) mod to consider down the road.

In the mean time, enjoy your new ride and post some images when you get a chance.
